I apologize for procrastinating on getting this up, but since my Twitter usage is falling off, I might as well update my journal.

My second sleep study about seeing how well I responded to a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machine. After all the sensors were hooked up for a second time, the sleep tech put a breathing mask over my nose before allowing me to go to sleep. It immediately felt like I was breathing a little better so I hoped the sleep would be better.

Four hours into the night, I had to call the sleep tech in there to give me a glass of water to drink, as my airway and throat had become dry. I slept for two more hours before the tech woke me up for the day, at 5:45 AM.

I felt the best I had felt in a LONG time when I woke up, and I didn't feel the need for any caffiene until noon the day after the sleep test. I can't wait to start sleeping with the CPAP machine on a regular basis. I'm now just waiting on the sleep center to call back and tell me when I need to come back in the day to get the results and the prescription paper that will allow me to get a machine of my own. Fortunately there is a place in my hometown that distributes them and I won't have to go out of town to actually get the machine.

I've felt some urgings to write again, and I've prepared myself to start editing Tsubaki vs. Ayumi for posting, but now the trouble is work. I'm trying to get a lot of days in at work over the past few weeks, and with the sleep apnea, I'm coming in from work too tired still to wanna do anything and instead take a nap.

Anyway, that's how things have been going here.
